The forth installment of Tom Holland’s MCU Spider-Man franchise is reported to wrap filming this month.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day began filming late last summer, and according to online ‘scoopers’ is slated to finish filming by the end of this month. According to Comic Book Movie, a collection of online scoopers have revealed that the film will wrap filming sometime this month with reshoots going into February all the way into April. This follows the timeline for Avengers: Doomsday, which will also have reshoots going into the spring around the same time as this film. We’re not sure yet if this means there will be any crossover between the productions, but with the schedules landing around the same time there is a good chance both reshoots could take place simultaneously.

After Spider-Man and Doomsday wrap filming, Marvel plans on remaining busy with the next Avengers installment Secret-Wars reported to begin filming during summer of 2026. Without knowing the plot of Doomsday or Brand New Day, it’s hard to tell how the production timelines play into one another (if they do at all), but either way at least MCU fans have some major new installments to look forward to. It’s being reported that Tobey Maguire will be the main Peter Parker for Doomsday but the reshoots may very well point to Tom Holland swinging in for some scenes as well.

Not many specifics about Brand New Day are known but it has said that the film will be more street level with characters like Scorpion, Tombstone, the Punisher, and potentially even Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk showing up. It will remain to be seen how these characters play into the plot, deviating drastically from the previous two Spider-Man films that featured characters such as Mysterio, Doctor Strange, and a collection of multiverse heroes and baddies from previous Spider-Man franchises. This newest film is said to be bringing Holland’s Peter Parker back to the more classic ‘friendly neighborhood Spider-Man’.
